• Wednesday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
• Friday: 7:30 AM - 2:45 PM

About the Role

We're seeking a patient-focused Medical Assistant to join a busy and growing dermatology practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced clinical environment and providing exceptional patient care.

Prior dermatology experience is a major plus

CMA or RMA certification preferred, but not required

Opportunity to transition from temporary to permanent employment

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and escort patients throughout their visit
• Obtain and document patient medical histories and demographic information
• Accurately enter patient information into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR)
• Record and document vital signs
• Assist providers during patient examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Prepare and maintain exam and treatment rooms
• Monitor and replenish clinical supplies and equipment
• Ensure rooms are properly stocked and organized for patient care
• Support physicians, advanced practice providers, and nursing staff with daily clinical operations
• Help create a positive, welcoming experience for every patient

Qualifications

• Medical Assistant experience required
• Dermatology experience strongly preferred
• CMA or RMA certification preferred but not required
• Experience working with EMR systems
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented approach to patient care
